Yakandonga Hunting
Our game ranch is situated in a private game reserve measuring 5,000ha with unspoiled bushfeld type vegetation and are home to more than 17 different game species and an abundance of bird life.
Game species to be found on Yakandonga are Kudu, Eland, Oryx,
Hartebeest, Zebra, Duiker, Blesbok, Damara Dik-Dik , Jackal
and more.
Your hosts, Henry and Yolanda are both born Namibians and both
have vast knowledge of game farming, hunting and tracking. The
farm Yakandonga has been in the family for the past 35 yrs and is
well known territory for both Henry and Yolanda ensuring that you
are in good hands.
Trophy hunting season in Namibia starts from the 1st of February
and last until 30th Nov of each year.
Hand weapons and automatic weapons are prohibited. You
should be in possession of a weapon licence as well as a weapons
owner's certification is important. Hunting permits will
be arranged by your hosts as soon as your booking is confirmed and
you have indicated and confirmed the trophy's that you are
interested in. On arrival in Namibia, your weapon
has to be declared and a weapon licence will be issued to you for
the duration of your stay in Namibia.

Calibre
Rifles: 9.3 X 64; 375; 300 Winchester; 8 x 68.
A good pair of binoculars, comfortable boots or shoes,
flashlight and light cotton hunting clothing. Bring some warm
clothing when you come during the months May to Aug.
A professional hunter or hunting guide will accompany you while
hunting and hunting is conducted in line with professional hunting
ethics.
The hunter is responsible for his/her own personal and hunting and
travel insurance.
